Positions Available:

Rental Assistant Position

We’re looking for reliable, friendly and outgoing individuals.

  • Be the face of our business by greeting and assisting all customers that enter our shop.
  • Bicycle rental duties: complete rental agreement and process outgoing and incoming rental tickets on Point of Sale.
  • Size customers to appropriate bicycles based on their height and riding needs.
  • Perform minor mechanical work: mounting kids trailers, tag-a-longs, child seats, adjusting saddles, cleaning bikes, pumping tires, etc.
  • Work with large groups, families, and international customers.
  • Maintain an organized and clean retail space.
  • Stock merchandise.
  • Sales of accessories and used bicycles.
  • Professionally answer incoming phone calls and emails.


  • Must have 2 years retail experience and 1 year of bicycle industry experience.
  • Speaking another language and familiarity with the downtown Santa Monica area are a plus.

We’re looking for extremely well-organized, responsible, enthusiastic and flexible individuals with previous tour guide experience as well as one year of bike industry experience.  Must have excellent verbal communication skills; enjoy public speaking, can learn and retain information and travel routes.  Bilingual and familiarity with the downtown Santa Monica/Venice area are a plus. Tours can run any day of the week but will primarily be scheduled for weekends.

We’re looking for reliable and friendly individuals with two years of professional shop experience. UBI Professional Repair and Shop Operation (or equivalent) certification required.

Speaking another language, familiarity with the downtown Santa Monica area, and point of sale (POS) experience are a plus.
